Jabra Addresses Government Pain Points with New Public Sector Program

Range of TAA- approved solutions uniquely designed to enable workplace concentration, collaboration and productivity

Lowell, MA – May 31st, 2017Audio and communications technology specialist, Jabra, today announced the expansion of its Public Sector business in North America and the hiring of an industry veteran to oversee this initiative; Cheryle Walline.

Cheryle brings a proven public sector acumen and strong leadership skills that were sharpened during her tenure at Hewlett-Packard and Ingram Micro. Since joining Jabra, she has grown the Public Sector team, expanded its TAA approved portfolio, and re-enforced the company’s commitment to its resellers and customers. Jabra has always focused on enabling workplace concentration, collaboration and productivity and, with its expanded presence in the Public Sector, government agencies will now benefit from its expertise in our new ways of working.

According to IDG’s “2015 Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) Survey,” the industry can expect a surge in UC&C adoption in the coming years. The public sector is eager to capitalize on these opportunities, but must conform to TAA compliance standards and ensure that all products and vendors meet the applicable requirements.

“Approval to sell products to government agencies is a privilege we do not take for granted. There are rules and regulations that must be followed. Government employees deserve best-in-class audio solutions from a vendor they can trust, and Jabra will be that vendor of choice moving forward,” said Walline.

Jabra will begin rolling out its new Public Sector strategy in the coming months, as Cheryle initiates a fully integrated and globally scalable initiative designed to target the pain points of public sector employees.
